Spring Weather Must Be Coming Soon!

For the last week out my window at work I've seen robins, cardinals, woodpeckers, and sparrows going crazy pairing up and gathering twigs and buildings nests. The animals always seems to know what the weather is going to do before our so called experts do so I'm going to go with the bird's prediction that it is going to warm up soon. Time to get the poles ready.

I was telling my wife the same thing just the other day. The birds are a sure sign!

my poles are ready and a cant wait because i will be in alabama in three weeks and hopefuly the birds are right so i can hang into an alabama lunker.

About two to three weeks before the weather really breaks, the skunks start getting out.

About two weeks ago I told my wife that based on all the dead skunks on the side of the roads, spring must be just around the corner.

Man to they stink too... shewwwww weeeeeeeee

another way too tell water temp. is climbing is the dogwood,i got 1 right in front of my house

Oh yeah when that dogwood blooms fishing is good. And thats a good sign that white bass are starting to run. Got one at moms to watch.

i hope the weather is changing too,but lets not forget where we live,hell with ky weather we could have a real blizard the end of march.you know what they say,if you dont like ky weather just stick around.

Last night walking my dog, I heard the first frogs of the spring doing their thing!!!! I always get excited when the frogs come out. I always know it won't be much longer now.

Besides, those of you that live in the country know this... there is no prettier song in the spring then the croaking romancing of the frogs... LOL.. and no, I am not attracked.. just enjoy the sound.
