mine is carbed,i also had them set a little richer,it may lose a 100 or so rpm but at least it won't lean out and blow.have it checked good before you buy it hey it's almost worth paying for gaskets and pulling the heads,you can tell a lot about the motor and only be out a little money if it turns out bad,check for carbon build up cylender scratches and discoloration from overheating.just my opinion.they are too much money to throw away.mid 70's if its in good shape should be easy,26 raker would make it fly i'd say. is it a lightening series?
