    Depends on where you cross. I've always done fine with running almost a straight shot across out of the canal. When you come out of the canal, look for the Daymarker (a white diamond) on the far side of Ky Lake and just run towards it. There's an abandoned gray bass boat on the bank just by it, or atleast it was there when last I checked. Then you can follow the buoys all the way up to Moors. If you don't cross directly out of the canal, you'll definitely want to use the buoys that cross in front of Moors because they wind through the streets of a flooded town!

    Don't do it. If you look on a map there is an old town in that general area and there are still foundations of homes that are just below the surface when the lake is at winter pool. Follow the marked channel.
