Never fished this far up the river going to try some walleye about wed or thur I no the river is shallow up that way can you take your time go slow and run a basstracker up that way Darrell

The ramp is steep and the water was moving pretty good, I'd be real careful with the water down! I have a flat bottom boat with a 10hp motor that has a hard time keeping up. Good luck. I haven't heard anything on the walleye biting up there but they have to start soon.

Don't try it. The water is between 4 and 2 ft deep. There is a shoal not 300 yards from the ramp that will stop you dead in your tracks. It's just not worth it. Be carefull going down river toward the lake as well, there is a shallow area not far from Bacon creek and a tree laying half submurged across the river. When the lake is at Summer pools it is likely a different story but rigth now I wound stay out of there in a nice boat. Oh, yeah, there was a sunken fiberglass boat just to the right of the ramp last time I was down there. If you go, be very carfull.
