stingray hydrofoil

I have a 16ft bass tracker semi v boat with a 35hp mercury motor would it be worth putting a hydrofoil on motor to keep boat at plane at lower speeds also would boat lose top speed?

I've got an 18' Fisher with a 90 on it and I have run it both Ways. I have better stability with no decrease in top end.

My Nitro has a 90 on it and the foil greatly improved my plane!!! I can't tell that it hurt my speed any.

Anything in the water will affect speed, but you probably will not notice it.
