As far as I know you do not UNLESS you have 100 boats or more, in which case you would. The form can be gotten from Department of Fish & Wildlife and must be filed a minimum of 15 days prior to the event.

Do you know if you have to have a permit to have a tournament on Barren River from the state park? The UK bass team's first qualifier is there next month and I am trying to tie down any loose ends, the date is April 9th 7-3 CST

Hey Mike,
Have y'all scheduled your kids' tourney at Wilgreen yet? I will be there if my work schedule cooperates. I also have some goodies to send.

Hi Joe!!!!
Yep, Rex has it scheduled in April. We will put out something here on the page in next few days. Hope you can make it again this year. I know it is a long drive, but we will have a great day with the kids.
I wish more of the guys would load up a kid and spend the day with us. One time and they would be hooked. I'm pretty sure Mr. Toler from Fish and Game will be there again too.

Christian and I had a good time last year, in spite of the weather. That 7 yr old I had bounced around the boat most of the day. It was the first time he had been fishing from a boat and he was thrilled. Hopefully our schedules will work out and we both can make it again. A two-hour drive was a small price to pay in order to see that boy having the time of his life. I think he even won a fishing combo during the prize give-away. Hope to see you guys in April.
Joe
