Did you listen the man at the hotel and come by our store, or travel a lot farther and spend more to drive north. You missed a heck of a tackle show this weekend. Let me know if your in the area and I'll give you a tour of our store.

    Hey Matt...

I would have come to your store, but I had $262 plus change worth of BPS points I had to use. Most of them were supposed to expire at the end of January, but I got an extention.

Unfortunately, I spent all that and then some.

Tell you what Matt, would love to come to the store tomorrow, if time permits. Can you give me directions? Say from the airport? Depending on how long the interview goes, I'll stop if I get the chance.

Thanks... and if I get the job, I'll be back here in Cinci a lot more often.

From the airport, take I-275 back towards I-75. Get off at the Hebron Exit, 237 and turn right. Go about 3 miles and turn left onto KY 18 (Burlington Pike). Go about 2 miles and turn left at McDonalds onto Centennial Circle. You'll see our store directly in frot of you.

Hope to see you and good luck with the interview.

    Thanks Matt....

I've been doing some last minute research on the company, and the customer I will be supporting... ready to tie the tie!

I've saved the directions into a word document, that way even if I don't make it today, I'll be able to come see you someday.. as after I land this whopper.... 12 lber i figure, I will be coming back up here often.

    Well, fingers crossed anyway. LOL

Thanks Vmaxx, I think it went pretty well. I was told I was in the final two, so now I have some waiting time.

Hey Matt, want to apologize for not making it in. The interview went a little long, which I thought was good. The weather was deteriorating here at home quickly, and I got home just as some really tough weather hit. I'm hoping I get that job, and I will be back and forth to Cinci on a regular basis, so I know I will make it in.

Good Luck Danny...hope you get that job. As far as Plapp's goes vs BPS and Gander Mnt here is my take: I have been to Plapp's store but have seen what they stock in their trailer that they take to the boat shows. The big difference is that you can get custom type lures at Plapp's that you will not find in any chain store and folks that are selling them that know something about fishing...given a choice if I lived in that area there would be no choice...go to Plapp's.

I heard rumor that Cabelas was going to build in Franklin, right along I-65.

RE: Cabela's coming to Northern Kentucky?

I'm staying at the Marriot at the Airport here in N. Ky.

I was talking to the concierge to make sure I had my directions right to get to BPS, and he mentioned that there was supposed to be a Cabelas coming to the Cinci area.

Also, and I thought this was pretty cool, he said if I was going merely for fishing tackle, I should go to Plapps!!! He said he happened to stop in Plapps to pick up a part for his trailer, and was very impressed with everything they had. He said he did not know the tackle show was going on, but it was really nice.
