Have an update for anyone that is interested.

Temps range 46 to 47 degrees. Water had good color to it. Not too muddy or too clear.

Thought the largemouth would have bitten better but I was wrong. Talked to the only other angler on the water yesterday. He had only caught 6 small crappie.

I guess the rain and impending storms had the fish a little screwy.

Is the lake back up to pool now?

Oh yeah. It has been up for a couple of months now. The lake looked real good.

I heard they were going to do some dredging sometime in the future. Not sure where but they are wanting to get more water in the lake and move out some silt.

I guess after the storms we've received the last 2 days anything that WAS down is now up.

Thanks for the report. Think I will just go to Herrington tomorrow. I dont like 40 something degree water and color myself.
