    As some one pointed out the geletin shell will bloat if soaked and as it rained the night before, well you get the Idea. As for the Paint. This is my area as I make the stuff for Sherwin williams.
    If the primary Vehicle as we would say is Mineral spirits as I have discover then the Pigment will settle out and the mixture will seem clear until shaken up or broken on a target. Also I found that deer hunters will cover them with scent and use them to create a scent trail. They are biodegradable and I hope that the mystery is solved but still this creek has a delicate ecosystem and I hate to thing of people just running around splashing throught the creek and leaving beer cans every where as was the case. It sadden me so.
