Barkley Lake Lodging close to Barkley Lodge ramp

Anyone know of any cabins or lodges around the Barkley Lodge ramp other than Barkley Lodge itself? Have an ABA tournament down there on Saturday, going down thursday to start practicing. Thanks for the info.

Parkview has a pay phone only down beside there store and they always have some fresh meat to throw on the grill it is a good place to stay and very quiet.Try it out I'm sure you will like your stay.I use to stay there all the time before I got my trailer down in the blue springs area.

Thanks for the replies. Just reserved a room at the lodge, anyone been there? The significant other is coming along and wanted to have a pool so she could do something while I was fishing so had to go with that one. Thanks for the info.,

Eric,

Have been to the lodge, and brought my boat. You can park it in the parking lot (although parts are tough to navigate with a "looping ramp up and down from the main entry). Your spousal unit will likely be pleased that you have the lodge, the restaurant, and all the other stuff. But is the pool (outdoor) even open at this time? Or warm? Just a though -- not sure.

Hey Eric,

Let us know how it goes and how the lodge is... I too have a significant other who would really only want to go if the rooms were pretty nice and there's a pool and shopping in the area (looks like there's antiques places - she'd enjoy that). We've thought of going before, but really had no idea about the area!

I've never stayed there with my boat. The best I remember, there really is no where to leave the boat near the rooms. I don't know if they let you keep it in a slip or what. I would still be worried about someone getting on my boat though, as I have way too much to take off every night.

Would you let me know how they handle your boat storage?

Danny, I just called down there and they said there is space in parking lot to trailer a boat, and they have a plug-in in the parking lot to charge your batteries so we will see how it goes. I'll let you know about the stay, thanks for help.

If you stay at the other one I mentioned earlier when he prices it ask if he has any cheaper cause that is steep .... he will bump it down bout 20 bucks i stay there for 60 its a 2 bedroom cabin NOT FANCY but clean and roomy with kitchen

Parkview used to have a pool, not sure if it is still open.

And yes, I have stayed at the lodge. I like it, and the resturant serves up some great grub... which isn't a bad thing after a long day on the lake.
