Planning on a trip this weekend with my dad, our first of the year together. Hit Barren just this Saturday and whiffed on crappie. Was looking at maybe making a trip over to Barkley, but if the fish aren't cooperating there it is closer for us to drive to Barren. I know Barren is way down at winter pool and most of the spots that I hit for crappie are high and dry.
So bottom line, is it worth the trip to Barkley or just head to Barren and fish smarter?
