Just wondering if anyone has tried casting a float-n-fly jig with out the float? I have found that they often hit the fly on the drop so why not try to cast it without the float? Also has anyone tried working it in very deep water such as finding a school of fish at 30-40 ft and droping the fly down to that level instead of say a spoon. Just wondering about any different ways that some of you have found to work the fly. I have been hearing of several different ways that are working instead of the traditional way. Love to hear your ideas to try next winter. Thanks.
