DOES ANYONE EVER FISH THIS LAKE I MIGHT BE MOVING TO E-TOWN AND I THOUGHT ABOUT MOVING ON THE LAKE
I use to live in the subdivision next to it on Kings Way. I am still a member there. There are a lot of bass in the lake just not any size. You may catch a 3 or 4 pounder here and there but mainly 1 and 2 pounders. They want you to keep any bass you catch because the lake has too many bass in it. I know there are some monster crappie in there. I have seen several stringers of 15, 16 and 17" crappie. Maybe I'll see you out there.
Is this lake on hwy 210 near Hodgenville (Lincoln Parkway). How much is it to be a member and what kind of boats are allowed on it. It looks fairly small from the hwy. Thanks.
No, that lake is the Larue Co. sportsmans club.
The E'town lake is on sportsmans lake road.
Thanks my mistake. I always noticed Sportsmans Lake on the side of the road (Larue Co.)and it looked like a good place to fish. Full of mature cypress trees and lily pads. Wonder if they let anyone fish that lake for a fee?
no they wont let anyone fish. you either have to join or go with a member. the waiting list is REAL long for members too.
