Excellent color in most of the lake. Perfect spinnerbait water.

I didn't get to fish but a couple of hours myself today, but it has good color main lake and down the river, (slightly stained), and pitman creek was stained and has great color. Fishing was tough today, took only 12.5 lbs to win FOM, only 7 lbs to get a check. Only saw a couple of Smallmouth, and only a few limits were brought in.

Cranking seemed to be the ticket for the few brought in. We caught a few on a suspending rogue early, but had to come in to get ready for weigh-in. Water temps ranged from 47 early in South Fork, to 52 degrees in Pitman Creek around 11 AM when I left.

West KY FOM on Barren faired much better for the fishing, with the top five having good stringers. 19.5, 19, 17, 15, and 13 lbs.
