Will be going out of the Narrows this weekend.Has anyone been there this past weekend to offer up any advice.Will probably look to start near the dam or the island out from it. What do you think?

go to the creeks.

If you must fish the dam area, focus on the points leading into the flattest coves....study, study, study that map.

One more thing....get out before the tournaments start...that means first light. Be prepared to battle 50 other boats for the same 3 ozs of water. Fish a little Friday if you can...I always like to have an idea of what's really going on before the madness of Saturday hits. Be prepared mentally for sloppy 2nds everywhere....maybe you'll figure something unique out early and you'll be able to catch fish behind people.

There's also good hybrid fishing this time of year.

Thanks, but can't get there till around 6:30 Sat. morning. Fish Herrington somewhat, so I do understand sloppy seconds. I'll stay courteous and do my thing.

Even better....go to Dale Hollow and fish the FNF one last time. Leave the largemouth alone this weekend.
