I WISH I NEVER BOUGHT ANY OF THOSE SPINNER BAITS WITH THE STRIP OF METAL AS THE SPINNER
1/8 oz Black and Blue Bitsy Bug with Blue Zoom Swimming Chunk Trailer........What the hell is this guy saying, one of the best jigs around??????? If I never bought it and hooked a 20" Smallie on my second cast of my life at Cumberland, I would not have gotten this disease called "Fishin". I could have retired by now for I would have had a Hell of a lot more money in the bank. Special rods for this, special rods for that, reels for this, reels for that, trolling equipment for stripers, winter tackle box, striper tackle box, regular net, striper net, tackle tackle and more tackle, but the most expensive item was my house that I bought to make sure the car, truck and boat all fit inside. I looked at probably 50 houses last year and the last 20, I only went into the garage. If it was not big enough I never went inside the house. Could have saved a hell of a lot of money if the garage did not have to be big enough for the boat as well as the cars. But oh no, the 4th child could not be left outside in the rain, cold, sun, or snow even with a cover. She has to be inside as well. I should have listened more closely the day I picked up my new boat at Bass Pro 2 1/2 years ago when he said it was 1 of the 2 happiest days in a man's life. The day you buy your boat and the day you sell your boat for the time in the middle is just sinking money into a black hole, THE MOST TRUTHFUL WORDS I HAVE EVER HEARD. But the hell with all this, Bring on Ky this weekend, Barren in 2 weeks, Ky after that and after that and after that, Bring on the Alberta Clippers in November, Bring on Dale in Dec, Jan, Feb, and March, bring on Ky in Spring Summer Fall, repeat..repeat..

haha Garages aren't made for cars!!!
Anyone remember the Mann's Hardworm? About 6" long, shaped like a cigar with a diving lip and a tail that swiveled! There was no need for the two treble hooks on it because nothing ever hit it. I also bought the Dancin' Eel. The action of those things looked like they would catch something on every cast, but all they ever caught was fishermen.
Ah, the flying lure. Color is irrevalant. Half the kit flew to the bottom of the lake and the other half to the trash can. I did catch one fish on one tho - well, if you count snagging as catching.

i was a part of the flying lure infomercial it was held on Williams town lake in noky they gave us all a huge kit and that was all we were allowed to throw wasn't even allowed to have other lures in the boat. well if you have ever fished this lake it is almost all docks there was a Kincaid bass-masters (I think )tournament going on same time and the videoed all of us fishin but the fish weighed in were their fish we didn't catch any that big. I had big fish of their tournament with 2.4 The longest eight hours of fishing ever and the twist in the line was aggravating

It is easier to build a child than it is to repair an adult. GOD BLESS
No "Walkin Worm" victims?
I bought some of them and I actually do pretty well with them whenever i get around to fishing them. But usually they're pretty small.
Anyone remember this soft plastic bait? Well at least as soft as they could make plastic in those days. Came out mid- to late-80's.
It was supposed to resemble a salamander, which the advertisements described as the bass's worst enemy because they ate bass eggs. It had a flared red gill plate.
They were like $5 a dozen, which was incredibly expensive in those days. One of the bait shops here in Frankfort actually has a bunch of them in a box--only the "off" colors are left. Discounted, hurry while supplies last. :-)
I actually liked this bait and caught several really nice bass on it. Of course, given the pond I was fishing in at the time I could have caught them on a Dancin' Eel even.

I certainly remeber the salamander with red gills. I bought 'em and never caught anything on 'em. What about the Mister Twister soft plastic lure line and was scented like bananas. Anyone remember that from the 80's? I never bought any, thought it was a joke... it was.
I don't understand someone not liking the Fat Free Shad. I have had many days when that was my best fish catcher (several colors have worked for me). Had a 5 and a 6.12 on the same day in late March a few years back with the citrus color... As for Banjo Minnow, I've never fished one. However, when I was in Mexico last July I talked to a guy who was throwing one. I saw it rigged up on his rod. It was about 8" long and he said he caught 3 over 10 on it that day.
What about the orange, see through, Rebel Black Star. This crank is the lure I wish I'd never bought.
