Tom Wallace does have some nice bass in it. I was down there a few years back and cought three that went over 3# in the course of one afternon. Not to bad for the small drop of water that that lake is. It seems though that that lake is only productive at one very precise time of year. Most of the time the bass are inaccessable because you are limited to shoreline fishing,k often at strange angles.

I've heard several good things about McNeely. Most folks dont want to do the hiking to get to where the fish are at. Additionally most people paractice catch an release on the bass. This coupled with the amount of presure that this lake gets and it has produced a "smart" fish, a very easily soopked fish who have seen, and been cought on, practically every bait known to man. There are definately some good fish in there, but I doubt that any go even close to 10#. I'm sure that anything that has come out of there close to 7# has ended up on someones wall.

..... Great discussion and question I might add.

Keep on chuckin'
