Thanks, that ole jerkbait is tough down there this time of year. Were you on the west end of the lake or the east? I'm thinking about leaving tomorrow and fishing afternoon and Thursday. Can't decide which end I want to fish, what were the water temps like where you were at. Also thank you very much for sharing info.
I caught all of my fish in a cut around the boys camp. The water temp. was 46.5 - 47.5 Saturday. I believe the key to catching those fish was down sizing my line. I threw a jerkbait for a couple of hours on a baitcaster spooled with 14lb line without a fish. For some reason I started throwing the same jerkbait on a spinning outfit spooled with 8lb line and started catching fish. I don't know if it was the difference in depth or action. All I cared about was it worked!! I plan to hit Cumberland a couple of days myself next week. Good luck!!!
