KVD was apparently disqualified to compete in the Elite Series event at Santee for having his co angler idle him through spawning areas while he was on the front deck looking for beds. According to BASS the rule was put into place a year or 2 ago to keep guys practicing with co anglers the advantage of doing this. I'd bet KVD is not happy and being President of the PAA it's sure to hit the fan this week.
