I am coming down to the lake this weekend for the first time this year. I will be fishing the KY end of the lake. I know that this time of year jerkbait, spinnerbait, grub, jig, and crankbaits are all good. Has anybody been down since the warm weather. Are the fish moved up on the flats or are they still holding in the winter pattern. If so what type of baits are they hitting thanks. Cant wait to feel the drag slipping with a big smallie at the other end.

I was there this past Saturday and the cold weather last week had moved them back out. Fished all day and only had one to the boat and it flipped off. Probably around 4 1/2 pounds. It was hooked on the very back hook. Since it has warmed up it should be better this weekend. I'm going back on April 7 & 8.
