    RE: Taylorsville Lake

Yeah, it was a really nice day on Saturday (I'm sun-burnt)... we ended up going to Guist Creek on Saturday and Sunday (the rental boats were all taken at Taylorsville by the time we got there - it was late - around noon). Saturday we didn't catch a thing. On Sunday we got one largemouth that must've only been like 7", LOL! That was it. On Saturday we talked to a few fellas and the fishin' didn't seem too great, one guy we talked to only caught one fish, and I think the largest that day was a 6lber. There was a tournament goin' on.

Nonetheless, it was a nice couple days on the lake.

If I'd had anywhere 1/2 the day you did, I'd consider it a success! But that's me. What lures were you using?

Hey, if you ever go to Tville again and have an open seat, I'd enjoy joining up, could probably learn a thing or two... if anything, fishin' with a fellow UK fan would be fun!

Thanks for the info - maybe next time, I'll go to Taylorsville! LOL!

    RE: Taylorsville Lake

Went to T-ville on Sat. crappie fishin. Got on the lake around 11am, did not catch a fish until 3pm. Fished in 16 ft of water about 7 ft down and had 15 crappie with 8 keeper fish. Water temp 55 to 57. Not good but that is one small baggie in the freezer. We were using small minnows on jigs. I think it is still a week or two away for the crappie. Can't wait.....
