I'm thinking about driving down from Whiteburg in the morning. What end of the lake did you fish? Thanks

Fished Wed and Thurs and really enjoyed being out in that beautiful weather. That warm sun warmed my bones and I had a smile from ear to ear. Of course as you know it was high pressure and bluebird, my favorite, LOL, yea right. Wednesday caught several and quick released one nice smalljaw. Caught some nice Ky's, fat as pigs. Thursday morning foung the spots in the jumps after small gizzard shad, and for about 45 minutes to an hour I wore them out. Had over a double limit and best six was pushing 9 pounds. It was fun and I was even catching them on pop-r's on top, they were chasing each other trying to knock the bait out of each others mouth. Some of these were really some nice chunk spots. Didn't set the world on fire but did O.K., and had fun and that's the main thing. Lake is still cold, water hanging around or slightly below that 50 degree mark, warming in the day under the sun, but not holding the higher temps at night. This should change soon as some warmer weather is FINALLY beginning to take shape. Lower end or west end of lake is in pretty good shape, upper end had alot of debris, and some real season enders so be careful while running. Be careful out there and good luck, Mark.

Never got past Difficulty creek around mid-lake, and also fished in the back of Beaver and in Indian creek as well.
