Thinking ahead to next year is there one lake in the greater bluegrass area that I could hold all of my ABA tournaments on?
Lets say 8 one day and 1 two day tournaments from November till July. Would like too hear from all, not just ABA members.
Thanks for your input.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-31-06 AT 02:38PM (EST)[p]There is a district that fishes Barkley and Kentucky already put on by Steve Cochran. Then Bruce puts one on that fishes Nolin, Green, Barren, Rough, and not sure what else. Hmmm...I think it is a matter of opinion. I fish Rough & Nolin ALOT, along with Taylorsville just because they are all relatively close to me. If you had one that rotated Rough and Nolin I would probably make all of them, but I guess that is out of the district?

Ky Lake or Barkley NORTH!!! Steve Cochran likes to stay far south on the lakes. He's a Tennessee boy and he stays as close as he can! If you could work it out on the north end, that would be awesome!

I kind of thought I was the only one that felt the KY Lake division was more of a TN district than a KY one.
Kind of tough to make it to Paris TN, which is where almost all the tournaments launched when I last checked. I have not looked at this year's schedule.
One thing though George, if you did fish say just Barkley, it would come to be known as a tournament for the locals there. That means if you pick Cumberland, and fish all the tournaments there, then it will likely become known as a locals tournament for those that live down there.
I like the central KY schedule the best, but I just don't get to fish this year enough to join.
Good luck George, you won't please everyone... and if you do, you are in the wrong business... RUN FOR PRESIDENT!!!

I vote for the north end too....can't fish em but I can guide em.

My vote goes to Barkley lake.
I agree, if Barkley or Kentucky lakes were in the bluegrass region I would have all of tournaments there. But I'm stuck in the east central region. I have say 50 miles either side of I-75 from Ohio river to the Tenn. state line.
But you all are right, the north part of Ky and Barkley. Steve Cochran is a great director but he is from Tenn.
Thanks for the input.

George, Have you thought about having all your tournaments on the ohio river. You could start on may and end in july. Maybe go right down the river, like brandenburg, carllton, big bone,
and may a few others...just a thought..
