Today Friday...it's a steady rain. What do you think about fishing on a raining day like today. Do you go? or Stay at the house?

Do have greater success in the rain? I know for sure if you don't go you will not have success.
I would rather fish on a rainy day than a sunny day. I think it puts fish shallower, moves them further from cover and makes them more likely to chase baits in the low light conditions.
GGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
I would definitely be out there today!!! Rain means low pressure, which means a good bite! I'd pick today over tomorrow!!! Get out there and GIT R DONE !!!

NEVER turn down an opportunity to fishin man. If you can get to the lake & back safely, Go GO GO!!!!
If it is warm enough I like fishing in the rain if no lightning is involved.
I'd rather fish with cloudy skies that look like rain...but I'd still go fishing in the rain...
I've got a good raingear suit but I'm like Tom T. Hall, "I'm against fishing in the rain." Or was that Hank Jr.?
One of the best days of fishing I have ever had was a tournament at Old Hickory. We had about 8 inches of rain that day, it was miserable as far as how wet it was, but the fish quit biting during the one small brief break from the rain.
Now this question... I have never caught fish shallow the day after storms... even if there was no high pressure move in, or cold front... e.g. in the summer when those pesky isolated storms pop up. After an evening of tough storms, I have always found the fish deeper.
What about you folks? Any luck shallow after major storms?

I fished in the rain today. My thought was, "we had sunny and 70's yesterday so Friday should be great with the front moving in." Well, the rain eventually drove us off the lake (my partner's rain suit didn't hold up to it) but we hung in there for quite a while. Ended up with 13 LM. We had a 3.1, 4.1 and 6.7.
I prefer to fish on a rainy day vs. a sunny day May - September.
