Where can you buy shad at around Cumberland now? Bandits is being sold, I normally bought all my bait there. Now I need to find another bait shop. I can catch it myself but sometimes I would rather just buy it to save time and sleep.

Is Bandit's no longer open then? I was going to come down this weekend and that's where I usually go. There is a BP station in Jamestown that carries shiners but not shad. Other than that if you head towards the dam before you get to the state park there is a gas station on the left that has several types of bait fish but I don't know if they carry shad. They had shiners and suckers last time I was there.
What is the name and/or phone # of that BP station. I lost their card and my memory at about the same time. Thanks.
Joe
Bandits is still open. IT is being sold and don`t know if the new owner will sell shad, I didn`t ask.
Lake Country Outdoors. That BP station has the Bass pro in it. Phone- 270-866-7575
The name of the store on your left just before you get to the State Park entrance is Lake Cumberland Country Store 270-343-2066
They have many diffeent types of live bait and yes they carry shad. They open at 5 am every morning and also have a good breakfest menu. It has been a while since I have been there so you may want to call ahead just to make sure things are still the way I described.

Bandits is still very open and has shad. Dennis doesn't have a buyer as of last weekend, so for now it's business as usual. I'll probably see you down there this weekend.
