Water Temps & level at Barren

I am considering going to Barren tonight, but before I make the 3 hr drive, I would like to know the water temps & lake level (how are the temps holding at night? etc.). Any info would be appreciated. Also if anyone has had any luck yet with the hybrid night bite. No specifics wanted just general info.

Barren River Lake
Water temp 56 degrees in Skaggs Creek
Water Clarity Clear
Renegade Tournament today over 100 boats out of Peninsula Dock.
Fish are starting to move since the cold front. Shad jumping in a few places where water is 4 to 5 feet deep.
Good Bass chasing the shad. Crankbaits and Spinnerbaits are catching good fish.
Hybrids are also keying on the shallow shad.
Look for the shad on the first point back in the creeks near drops and flats.
Fish are starting to transition into the spring mode and turnover should occur very soon.
Get out and walk the banks and look for places to fish in the summer while the lake is low.
