Anyone fished Dale Hollow last couple of days?

Heading down early in the morning and was just curious how it had been the last couple of days. I talked to a guy who said it was slow Saturday..............

I fished all day Saturday and it was a little slow but I still caught fish.. I caught about 6 or 7 fish total throughout the day but only 2 fish were smallmouth. Only bait I could get them to hit was a suspending jerkbait in a clown color. The 2 smallmouth I caught weren't of any size either (maybe I was fishing the wrong spots) You could go in the back of every cut that was in the sun and catch a largemouth in the very very back of the cuts on the jerkbait. I did catch a healthy 2lb spotted bass on a spinnerbait. I don't know how early spotted bass spawn but in one cove we saw about four spotted bass that would leave a spot and just come right back.
I did have one good one hit the jerkbait in the back of a cut, don't really know if it was a largemouth or smallmouth bc it broke me line, but it did just completely out of the water with my bait in its mouth about 3 times after it broke off. It was probably around 4 or 5lbs.

What was the water temp Sat.

anywhere between 51 and 56 degrees.. Maybe a little warmer in the back of the coves in the sun where the largemouth were biting.. And I fished mostly around holly creek, hendricks creek, roberts hollow, and first island

I fished Tuesday.......the temp was around 54.......we didnt have much luck, but nobody else I talked too did either
