    Fishing Wednesday the Fifth!!!

Anyone going to be on the lake fishing tomorrow? OK, OK, I know Dave Stewart will be out... of course.. LMAO

Anyway, I'm heading out to do some fishing, trying to decide between KY and Lake Barkley. Also got an open seat if anyone wants to fish!! I don't charge anywhere near what Dave does, but then I don't catch anywhere near the fish Dave does...LOL

Anyway, looking forward to catching some bass, and have an empty seat if anyone wants to join.

BTW, a disclaimer my wife makes me put... men only invited... for some reason she thinks the fishing will lead to something else.. Thank goodness Love is BLIND... otherwise she would know she has nothing to worry about.

    Darrell, sent you an email.

Hey Wendall, since Darrell answered first, I figured he should get first shot.... we can hook up another time.

Also Darrell, email me at [email protected] if the email did not come through. If you check, your email address actually did not contain an @ symbol. I tried using the @ where the 2 was, and hope it comes through.

RE: Hey Danny! - Gotta Read this!!!

Well, I'm gonna have to go join the SOKY tomorrow to fish their tournament this weekend. We have planted so many baskets of fish today.... it was unreal!! LMAO

Actually, we had one bay where we got some decent bites, and I got one 2.5 lber... a large mouth. I caught a gold Drum... bigger than the one you and saw that day we were fishing together. I caught it on a shadrap, fished on my spinning reel, with 6 lb. line. It took quite a few minutes to get it in, and we had to use the trolling motor to keep up with it at times. Fortunately the reel has a good drag. it was a lot of fun.

Also, Darrell caught a pickerl... and there you have it.. the day in retrospect. We were never able to duplicate the bites.

It was very nice today, but we could have actually used some wind. Much of the day the water was just too flat.

The water temps were anywhere from 54 degrees to 64 degrees. The main lake is actually warmer than the bays. Water on the west side of KY Lake, especially the couple of bays we were in were more stained than the LBL side.

Oh by the way, I weighed that huge drum today on my digital scales, it was only about 12 lbs, and was bigger than the one you and I had. I'll now check my scales to make sure they are accurate.

How's the trip going? You back home yet?

I was hoping that, with this front coming in, you guys would tear'em up yesterday. All in all it sounds like you still had a decent day, though.

Yes, I'm back in town. Got back late Tuesday night. I'm supposed to be going up the river this weekend for whites. I'll let you know if my plans change.

RE: Hey Danny! - Gotta Read this!!!

Hey Darrell (or should I say Pickerelmaster) we'll see you at the meeting tonight. I'll expect a full brain dump of the conditions on Ky. Don't worry, you can tell me the truth instead of that fish story Danny told. I hope you didn't get corrupted by his bad influence.

BTW, how did your prospect in Cincy go Danny?
