Barry,
He only opens the ramp from about Memorial day to Labor day. Then he likes to charge about $6.00 to launch. His name is Steve--guess he still owns it???? I haven't launched there, ever since he charged me that much.

Steve Habich is the owner. His telephone number is 821-8012 and he charges $100.00 for the season the last time I checked. For that you get a key to open the gate and launch.
It's a nice ramp, but Cox's Park is free.

Remember that the Capatins Quarters Marina is off limits for fishing. The Department of Fish and Wildlife has been ordered to enforce this regulation. The Marina won this battle in court last year and I have talked to the Wildlife guys for Jefferson County and they say that it will be strictly enforced. I just got off the river from a stranded boater call and the water is muddy and a noticable current in it.

Sad to say it but $6 ramp fee is cheaper than running from Cox's to Harrods Creek. I think its about 4.5 miles so that would be 9 miles round trip and my boat gets about 2 MPG
(4.5 X $2.75= $12.38) Thanks for the help guys... Just need some help with the MPG. LOL
