I live in East Louisville and I am looking for a place close by where I can teach my 7 year old to fish. I drove around all day today looking for a place to get on the bank of Harrods Creek but it seems it is all subdivisions or Golf Courses. Anyone know of a place I can get to the bank? mcneely lake is a small lake with plenty of great banks and bluegills for kids.its off preston highway

Stone Lake subdivision on Taylorsville road before you get to the Snyder has at least 1 lake or maybe 2 that use to be pay lakes. Also not on the East end, but McNeely lake has room to bank fish.
