Greenbriar is in Mt Sterling across the bypass from town .I haven't been over there in a few years and I did fish it intermittently for a few years , but the last time I was there , it was trolling motors only .It's a good looking small lake with tons of cover .I'd say it's close to 200 acres .Deeper banks on the left side going up the lake .The right side has more coves , hence, structure like points .Back then it was no challenge to catch as many bass as you could catch but it was hard to get a keeper .I have heard of nice bass being caught but my personal best topped out at about 3 lbs .Apparently there are a miniscule amount of remnant smallmouth which I figured were residents of the original creek .I always thought it would be a great place for smallmouth but it was just my opinion .I do know of 2 smallmouth , each in the 5 lb range having been caught but the bluegill population got most of the attention .As I stated , it's been a few years since I fished there but it would be a great place to take kids or try out new lures .The ramp was only suited to one vehicle at a time but it was in good shape , but steep .Make sure your emergency brake works .haha Hope this helps .
