RE: WHAT'S YOUR BIGGEST FISH OF THE YEAR?

I took plenty of pics. I weighed the fish as soon as I caught her on a set of Rapala hand held scales it flashed from 9.1 to 8.15. I kept the fish in the livewell to show off. I was going to have it mounted but decided aganst it and turned it loose in a large farm pond. I wish I could have found cert. scales. Six years ago I caught an 8lb 7oz The fish I caught last Sun. was a lot bigger. Ive used my scales to help cull and they are within 1oz. This fish had massive girth.

RE: WHAT'S YOUR BIGGEST FISH OF THE YEAR?

I caught one this year that measured 23" long and had an 18" girth. She weighed almost exactly 8 lbs. 8 oz.

You had one heck of a fish there. I don't know how big but bigger than mine! I bet that was a 10 pound fish.

    SteveO..Almost 11!!!!!!!! Awesome!!

Steve the formula for estimating weight by measurements is
Length x Length x Girth Divided by 1200. With your measurements your fish was 10.8lbs. And were did you say you caught her? LOL
    Good job man.
