Look for wood - sunken logs, branches etc. Fish with everything you need - minnows and jigs( a variety of colors and sizes) . I have found some days when the fish wouldn't touch a jig and some when they wouldn't partake of minnows very readily. The other day the minnows quit producing around mid-morning so we tied on 1/16 oz charteuse twister tails and began to pick up fish again. Roadrunners produce real well at GRL as well although the twister tails with regular ball jigs are cheaper if they break off. You really have to go out and get as much experience as you can. Depth is sometimes critical just a couple feet sometimes makes a big difference. Fishing with different people has taught me a lot over the years. Everyone has little techniques that can make all the difference in the world on slow days. Hope that helps a little. Lots of luck and hope you get a limit soon!
