Ohio River Question

Heading to the river today after school. Could someone tell me if they have been catching the bass in the creeks or on the main river? Thanks to anyone who replies. Will post how I do tomorrow.

Creeks! River temps about 58, creeks are warmer up to 71.

River was blown out, went to Kincaid lake.

How was Kincaid? Muddy? Catch any?

Buy the state dock and dam it wasn't too bad. The farther back you went the muddier it was. Creek across from the camp ground was pure mud but cooler than the rest of the lake (61). Fished all afternoon and didn't catch a fish until 8pm. Caught a 2 pounder on the bank between the dam and the state docks. Pig and jig. I think I hit her in the head because she just exploded on it. Scared me. You know how it is when you haven't had a bite all night. Missed another on about 5 minutes later. Turned the fish on the hook set but didn't get a hook in her. Couldn't tell how big only saw her flash. Hope that helps.

I caught a 6lb 4oz off the same bank last August on a finesse worm at daybreak. Took pictures and turned her back. Kincaid muddies up real fast after a rain. I hope to hit her not this week but week after.
