Gullets in eastland has the new model blacklights.
which brand does gullett's have?
I dont remember the name brand but they are the new LED lights. he has last years and this years models. This years model is about the size of a reel and two is more than enough to light up any bass boat.
I have the stan sloan lights and love them with no problems. I looked at some of the lowprofile lights but they feel cheap and are plastic. (the ones I looked at at least are) They only have a blacklight only. Just my opinion but I would stick with the sloan lights.
last years model of the new blacklights have the white light option in them and are four times smaller and brighter than the stan sloans. The new blacklights are completely sealed unit and the ones I looked at were not plastic. They have a one year warranty and if the bulb goes out it cost 8 bucks to get it replaced and the unit re-sealed.
Has anybody used one of the new Nucli-Eye LED models? Those things look awesome...pricey, but awesome.

several stores in london, kentucky have moonlites. heard they have them around lexington too.
Mine only worked when it wanted to also. I called the number on the light & was going to order new mounting receptacles for the lights (they are only 1$ each from stan sloan bait co.) But before I placed the order I cleaned the pins on the bulbs with some scotch-brite & bent the contacts out a little (to make better connection). Works perfectly now. Don't know if it will help, but it may be worth a try.
