Heading down there sunday to fish in a small tournament. I was wondering if anyone had been down there lately and how they faired? I will post how it went when we get back.

Most of the boats came in with their limit, all but three of these were below the 12-15 inch slot limit. A few of them caught 10-15 fish with about half of them being in the slot limit. There was a top water bite over the weeds but the bigger fish came on spinnerbaits in front of the weeds and plastics. Biggest fish was only 2.5 pounds. You could see some big fish but they were on the nests.
