Sorry to hear this news. What a nice fellow to talk with while stopping for tackle on the way to Cumberland.

Thought some of may want to know. Bob, who owned Lake Cumb. Outdoors (I think) passed away from heart problems yesterday. If you've been to the store, he was the older gentleman (60ish) that was behind the counter in the fishing section most of the time. He was a very nice guy and will be missed by the local community. My condolences to Greg and family. JoeB

Deepest sympathy to the entire "family" at LCO. Bob will be sorely missed by all.
I really hate to hear that as I have talked to him many many times and he always had a kind word and good fishing tips. I'm sure all will miss him and my prayers go out to his family and friends which I'm sure he had many. I will miss seing him sitting on that stool behind the counter.
Many condolences from my family

And from all the families at the Backwaters Stores...

Sad news indeed. I always stop by there during my annual trout fishing trip to the Cumberland River and it was always a pleasure to do business with Bob, I am sure the community will sorely miss this fine man. Prayers to the family from western Ky.
