Thanks for asking. I'm gonna be there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday myself. Uncle has a place down there and we're all going for a derby party, but I'm sure a few of us will spend more time on the water than partying. The race is great but I'd rather be fishing,especially if they are in pre-spawn. Pre-spawn makes for two possibilities. Either finding and feeding them big hungry sows before they go on the nest, or tough to buy a bite. The first is a lot of fun and a chance at some quality fish. The second just gives me a chance to work on fishing tough bite days. Makes me think and try harder and try techniques and lures that I often ignore. Either way it will be a good time.
