I just got the news that Tony is better and his white cell count is up enough that he will be able to go home.
For those of you who do not recognize the story, I recieved an email that I shared on here about Tony needing cards and a lure.

Wow, that is a touching story and a real dose of reality for us all. I can't wait to send the little guy a picture and lure. We should all do our best to flood Tony's mailbox!!! Thanks for sharing.

Hey guys,

Bubba just called to inform us that Tony’s count was 960 this morning. That’s right….240 to 960 in one day. Bubba told Ali, “You gave Tony the good stuff” . He’s pumped. He went and got the water hose and hosed off the trailer tires for the boat cause he knows it will be no time at all that his little fishin buddy will be right back in there with him.

Doesn’t get any better than that. Crabs are runnin, beautiful sunsets every night, precious Ali all over the place, and ANC counts going from 240 to 960, and now the little fishin buddy is coming home.

Bubba thinks that the doctor will let them know today about the exit conference and when Tony will be released. Gift registries are being set up and we’ll know more about them later today. Big Dave with Extreme Home Makeover goes home today so it will be crunch time to get the house complete in a short period of time.

More later. Keep praying. Our prayer warrior in Gulfport was right when she told Teddy to go on back to Jackson because that little boy (Tony) was going to be healed.

Song came on this morning… “I will praise you in the storm”.. Sure took on a new meaning for me getting to watch Bubba make sense of all of what they have gone through. It’s been one of those true blessings in life getting to watch a man “Praise God throughout the storms of life.” It’s simply amazing!!!!

I will be sending Tony a pic and a lure. There is nothing, and I do mean NOTHING, worse than seeing a child suffer. However, since his latest treatment it sounds like things might be looking up for him.
