I went Friday night and quit fishing about 2:00. Did not hear the shad like the weekend before and no blowups. I got frustrated with the amount of logs and stuff in the water. The water level keeps climbing and trees were in the water making it difficult to cast. I was fishing in Wolfe Creek and was working towards the main lake but turn around with the log jam near the mouth of the creek. Did not catch anything except a few tree limbs. I hope others had better luck.
Went Saturday night to Fishin Creek. Started at dark. half moon bright til clouds moved in around 1am. Shad finally started working around 1:30-2 am. Fish went nuts. Walleye,
stripes, even caught a very nice largemouth and 1 small
smallmouth. Everything on slivers and redfins. Oh, it also started raining. Just a drizzle. Made for a cold night. But, the bite was awesome.
