Need Some Help
Hay fellows I have never fished the rivers for bass have always fished for cat's in rivers. Would like to try my hand at some River BASS next week. I will be fishing the Green River from Calhoon to Rodchester I know that this is a long strech of water, but could some of you all help narrow it down to some of the more productive water, types of bait and how to fish them for a day of fun fishing on Green River. Thanks

RE: Need Some Help
First, don't anyone tell on me... LOL. I know I'm not supposed to be on the computer until my elbow heals, but with enough meds, it feels much better.. .should not opperate a boat this way though..> LMAO
Anyway, I live just four miles from a ramp on the Green river in the stretch you are talking about.
I've been trying to raise interest in a small week night tournament... say 4 or 5 hours. Would you be interested? I've never even fished the river, but I hear there are some nice fish in the river.... not real big. What I've been told is to flip and pitch the cover that gives current break. Apparently there are several small creeks, several fresh water dumping in from the power plants... warm in the winter too, and several man made "bays" where barges are loaded. Although I've never been on the river, I too am itching to try it.
Good luck,
Danny
