Anyone been on laurel lately. Hows the bite?
The bite has been pretty good. Fish seem to be in heavy cover . brush hogs and jigs seem to be the way to go. walleye are biting pretty good also. Had 4 last night and 1 more tonight. Smallest around 3 lb and largest around 7lb. Thats some good eatin'.Water is stained and was staying at about 68 degrees. Full moon coming out so it may get a liitle tough.Good luck.
Spinnerbait and buzzbait against the bank if you aint hitting the mud you are waisting your time, you cant get too close to the bank when it gets dark
thanks for the reply how about the early morning bite. tks
I have not fished in the morning in a while but from what I hear a buzzbait is working really well. Floating worm also works really well this time of year.
