HOW TO FISH A CHATTER BAIT?

I just bought a couple of chatter baits. I have never fished with one. What is the best presentation to use this time of year? I'm going to C-land this week end and want to try it.

Just like a crankbait I am told. It will not fish like a real jig when lifted and dropped. Have to keep it moving. You could slow roll it near the bottom, or crank it to near the top of grass or even crank it just below the surface.
The guys I talked to said you have to keep it going to make it work.

It is basically a swimming jig. I have caught several fish on them throwing them like a spinnerbait and POPing it once in a while.

The best way I have found is to put it right on the bank and slow roll it like a spinnerbait, I caught 13 keepers on it two saturdays ago.
