    RE: Good fried CatFish

There use to be a restaurant in the LBL called I think The Iron Kettle. To date that is some of the best doggone food I've ever stuck in my mouth. Home cooking at it's finest. I think the name of that little town is called Grand Rivers, reminded me of Mayberry, fine people and fine eating, hmmmmm, hmmmmm good.

Amen to the Iron Kettle in Grand Rivers If I lived closer I would have to get new pants once a month so I could get in them...Fried chicken to die for and at 5'6" 230 lbs I know what good food is......

    The Pelican

I've lived in the lakes region for twenty years now, and there's no better place or price for some good ol' catfish than

    THE PELICAN !!!!

They have an even more awesome breakfast! No lake trip is complete without a meal at The Pelican! It's the restaurant that all the locals go to and there's never a wait!

It's located in Lake City, next door to The Fisherman's Friend tackle shop.
