Below is the information for the Third District Wildlife Commissioner's Election June 13th, 2006.
At this time I want to announce that I will be running for Third District Commissioner. I hope that members of the Fishin.com Community will find the time to come to the meeting and vote for the Fish and Wildlife Commissioner.

Third District scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Eastern time June 13 at Valley Traditional High School Gym, located at 10200 Dixie Highway. Doors open at 6 p.m. (Take Gene Snyder Freeway to Dixie Highway exit. Right on Dixie Highway approximately 1-2 miles. School is on the left.)
Open to residents of the Third Wildlife District who, for the past two consecutive years, have either: purchased a Kentucky hunting or fishing license; hunted or fished in Kentucky but were not required to purchase a license; or have registered a boat in the state of Kentucky.
The names of up to five nominees chosen at this meeting will be submitted to the governor, who will then appoint one nominee to a four-year term.
Counties in the Third District include Breckinridge, Bullitt, Jefferson, Meade, Oldham, Shelby and Spencer.
Nominations for the Second District will be held at 7:30 p.m. Central time June 20 at the Wayland Alexander School Cafeteria, 1250 Oakwood Drive, Hartford.
Nominations for the Eighth District will be held at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time June 14 at the Button Drill Room, Button Auditorium, Morehead State University, 150 University Boulevard.
Doors open at 6 p.m. at all locations, same rules apply to all.
Will be putting out press releases about these toward the end of the month, in addition to our legal advertisements in the local papers.
Guy's these are the people that work with theKDFWR to help set limit's and season's, rules etc.
I'm proud to say that good freind and neighbor Dr. James Rich has been a senoir member of the commission for year's from the fifth district.
Help support Jim if you're in his area. I know he cares about the fish and game of Ky. and will work hard at his job.
