Fish weighed 5.98 pounds on a meat scale. Beating the old record by almost a pound. The fish is one of the 3 largest ever caught in the United States.
The fish was 22 inches long.
The same day One of Jesse's Clients caught a 2 pound 14 ounce white bass as well.
