i know i'm not Jim but figured what the heck,and he is right bear lake and lang lake were very slow,i can't remember his name but the guid that was there took us lake trout fishing trolling with downriggers and it was a blast.

I want to make that trip and talk to the guide.. I think you can get some better results with Lakers if you sit over them and use the jigging method I suggested.. but hey he is the guide.
