How many of you guys and gals use swivels to attach baits to their line? I personally have never used them and simply tie my line directly to the eye of the bait. Since I use nothing other than spinning gear and am constantly battling line twist I thought this might help. How does it affect the action of particular lures?
Also, I noticed when I cast baits such as spinner baits and crankbaits as my lure flies through the air it is constantly spinning perpendicular to the travel path. It there something inherently wrong with my casting style or is this something that happens to most when casting?
