    Steve,
will be there Saturday myself. And I agree, reports are slim. Last I heard fish had movbed away from shore. C-rig time I suppose. Big tourney going out of State dock supposedly. Don't know to be exact. Good Luck To You. GP

    RE: Dont Go This Weekend!!

me and a friend went yesterday after afternoon and on into the night. started out in cook's creek and didnt get bit until about 2/3 the way back. didnt see any shad until then either. had the most success on points adjacent to the creek channel on yum dingers texas rigged and carolina rigged lizards. about 1 1/2 hours before dark things just went nuts. most of the fish came on chuggers. on slow twitch twitch pause retrieve. caught 1 or 2 on spinners and 1 or 2 on cranks but most were on chuggers. 3 lber 4 2 lbers and about 15 12 inchers or so. once it got to where you could barely see the bait the topwater went away and texas rigged stuff and caught about 8 or 10 more until something started splashing all over the bank. never got a look at one so i dont if it was carp or what but when that started the bite went completely away. then it started to thunder and lighting so we left. water temps were at 79 when we got there and 75 when we left. water had a little stain to it but wasnt bad once you got away from the mudline from the pleasure boaters. hope this helps.
