    RE: Taylorsville Catfish

After taking a look at the lake levels, it appears that the water did not come up enough for the "high water" bite. I stayed home. As for the leak, sometimes you cannot detect a leak when you fill the boat up in the driveway. To illustrate, poke a really small hole in a styrofoam cup. If you put some water in the cup there might not be enough pressure to force the water out of the small hole. However, If you force the cup down into a pot of water, the pressure is often enough to force water up through the hole. The same holds true for small leaks in boats. Of course, if you have a serious gash, water is going to leak in or leak out, whatever the case may be .... Jason

Thanks, I think my leak might be in one of the connections on the bottom of one of my livewells. It's never anything thats easy to get to. Whatever it is, it lets in a lot of water in a hurry.
